The network originated during the pandemic as a digital educational accelerator and highlights the importance of educommunication as a teaching resource for solving individual or collective problems. It has evolved to include and connect social and community initiatives interested in learning:

  • audiovisual and photographic skills for community mappings and documentation,

  • educommunication strategies for the creation and strengthening of digital and in-person ecosystems aimed at highlighting their initiatives,

  • opportunities for the creation of collective proposals, and

  • how to become incubators and accelerators of collective work that integrate educommunication.

It is an edu-communication tool that facilitates access through open data collected and curated about initiatives enriching culture, ecology, and recreation in Puerto Rico and its diaspora.

COMUNITECA

We have developed a digital library that highlights our commitment to educommunicative practices through the design, production, and distribution of podcasts, blogs, and short videos. Similarly, it offers services for the creation of multimedia projects. We use information technologies to share educommunicative stories, feature Puerto Rican social and cultural projects, and empower communities.
