Metro Puerto Rico was among the first outlets to cover the launch of ChangeMaker Foundation’s new Interactive Map, a free digital tool that spotlights and connects butterfly gardens and bomba and plena groups across the Island.

The map was developed through the Conéctate en Red program and lets anyone search for projects by name, municipality, or category, view a short description of each initiative, and access contact information and social media links. The platform was built by Puerto Rican tech firm Haipriori, while El Lab, the Foundation’s applied research division, led the database curation.

As the coverage notes, the map supports ChangeMaker Foundation’s three strategic pillars: Art and Culture, Conservation of Spaces, and Local Consumption.

“This interactive map represents an open invitation to recognize, connect, and strengthen initiatives that contribute to collective well-being through culture and ecology. At ChangeMaker Foundation, we believe in the power of community networks to amplify projects that preserve our traditions, promote civic participation, and create new opportunities for collaboration in Puerto Rico.”

— Mariely Rivera Hernández, Executive Director and Founder of ChangeMaker Foundation
